CDG worked with the General Services Administration to complete multiple projects to upgrade the historic Minneapolis Federal Office Building. Our work included a major interior renovation for the Passport Agency to provide a new customer service center and the related support areas. Primary elements of the project included private offices, customer service counters, technology-rich training room, and a completely new mechanical system. Additional work in the building included the creation of an accessible entry, elevator modernization, renovation of the mechanical system, and design of a new fire protection system. CDG reviewed historically sensitive areas of the building to ensure that they were not adversely affected by the renovation work.
