Collaborative Design Group provided interior design services for The Leonard Center Athletic & Wellness Complex at Macalester College. This 175,000 sf facility not only houses athletic competition areas, but also provides everyone on campus the opportunity to enhance their physical well-being. The goal of the interior design was to create inviting spaces for students, faculty, and community members to enjoy. In addition to the gymnasium, field house, and natatorium, the Center includes a fitness club, lounge, clinic, student club rooms, offices, athletic training, and locker rooms. In the center of it all is a Juice Bar with a fireside seating area that promotes student interaction.
